Really? Where did you see it? I wonder if someone at UAH designed it or something. Was a tiny asian guy driving it when you saw it too? I bet itd be too big to fit in it LOL
I think they call those velomobiles - basically a recumbent bicycle with fairing. A little more weight, but they can get up to pretty reasonable speeds. 35 mph is easily done, the world record is something around 80 mph..
80mph on that thing is a terrifying prospect. But also kind of awesome.
Hey I saw this guy again yesterday on the same road (wynn). Has to be from the UAH campus, but then he'd have had to peddle up a hill to get to wynn... Hmm. The mystery pod man...
