The artist is coming back out.

I'm picking stained glass back up. Unfortunately this requires a big upfront commitment of money. I purchased 160 dollars worth of basic supplies today. I can pick up the other bits and pieces at lowes or hobby lobby. I'd really like to sell some of my work. And I have a venue -- one of my friends owns a country market in Tennessee and shes been begging me to showcase some of my work there. But the problem is how much will people pay? Stained glass is a VERY expensive hobby. And making stained glass pieces is costly - even before you try to make money and account for time. I've tried selling my work before and it didn't work out. This will be one more go at it.

Even if I don't sell it - I will enjoy the work and be proud of the pieces I create. So it won't be a total loss.

If you're interested in buying let me know. I'm going to start out making stained glass chains which would sell for about $40. I think I'll look into

Drumroll please...

I have finally signed up for eHarmony. I gotta say though, I'm not all that impressed with my matches or the service so far. I hope it gets better. After eliminating all the matches that live too far away (over 3 hour drive), that don't have photos, and the definite no's; I'm left with about 7. And who knows if they even have accounts. What I don't like about eHarmony, is that even if you haven't paid for service, you get matched with people. Thats why "review your matches free" works.

And another point about the free matches -- what pisses me off is that I signed up for a free profile and matches ages ago. Well the people that matched me all requested communication and then "closed" our match when I didn't respond (I couldn't because I had not paid for the service) -- so now all those potentials are unusable. Thats lame as hell. And theres no way for me to tell them "hey, I just couldn't reply."

But we'll see how it goes.

New semester starts tomorrow. I don't even want to talk about it.

The #1 best thing in my world right this second.

This is a Wheezer music video. BUT WAIT. This is the best music video EVER MADE. And yes, it is completely worthy of all caps. COMPLETELY WORTHY.

Wheezer got together a ton of youtube internet celebrities and made a music video with them. Yes. And it's better than you could even hope.

Tidbits: Bronchitis & Poison Ivy Edition

+ So I came home from Six Flags with poison ivy. And bronchitis. Souvenirs to go with the large stuffed tiger wearing a safari hat I won by tossing a ball into a bucket. The tigers cool. The others -- not so much.

+ Saw Ironman. Thought it was the best thing EVER. There has been discussion among my friends that Stark was not geeky enough for a genius. Stark was the most perfect asshole ever. I loved him. I thought his character was perfect. I've know more than one genius level person who was a total asshole because they knew they were smarter than everyone else. It's totally plausible that he'd be more of an ass than a geek. I'd have totally gone home with him too, if you know what I mean.

+ My car got vandalized about 2 weeks ago. I've just been too lazy to bitch about it. Someone broke the side-view mirror off for fun. People suck.

+ Got new glasses about a week ago. LOVE THEM. Today I got a super spiffy hair-cut to go with them. I'd take a picture if I were more inclined to look decent for it. Maybe tomorrow.

+I finally succumbed to my doctor's nagging for a lean-body-mass scan. I just can't see paying 50 dollars to stand on a scale. Thats beyond a rip-off. But he makes me feel really guilty when he scolds me about my health. I tell you what -- that scan was depressing as fuck. I don't need to know exactly how much of my body is fat and where it's located -- I think I can look down and tell, thank you. And yes, it would be nice to lose another 50lbs of fat. Fuck you, expensive scale. I've got about 70lbs of fluid in me though -- lets just ditch that. You can't count water weight anyway right? I totally weigh 100lbs on that logic.

+I screwed up at work. Kinda badly. It's not so bad and I fixed it easy enough. No ones pissed. I just look/feel like a MAJOR idiot. They give me some responsibility and then I go and make the dumbest rookie mistake possible. In short: I updated the software to do what it needed. We tested & validated it -- it works. And after jumping through all the hoops for 6 weeks... drumroll please... I didn't updated the version of the software in the code. In hundreds of thousands of lines of code, I forgot to change 2 minor characters. Can't we just fix that and do a diff report? No, of course not. Now I've got to go through unit testing and validation ALL OVER AGAIN. Yeah, I'm that fucking stupid. *bangs head on keyboard*

Six Flags Over Georgia with Crystal

Saturday, Crystal & I went to Six Flags. We were there for about 10 hours and only got to ride 7 coasters. Thats how long the lines were. Insanely long. I can't believe you pay so much to spend 95% of your day standing in line with gum chewers. HOURS OF GUM CHEWERS. And they nickel-and-dime you in every way possible which really is just disgusting. But hey, I got to ride roller coasters -- and as Crystal pointed out many times, it was great exercise.

The only roller coaster I'd ever ridden before was the Georgia Cyclone. I rode that one plus a lot more this time around. And I fit! I was scared to death through most all of them. I swore the bar was going to come unlocked and I'd fly out and die a horrible death. but it was fun. Here's my run down of the coaster we rode in the order we rode them (after the picture of us on Superman):

Goliath - This is the big one that goes all over the park -- probably my second favorite. The negative G-forces were awesome! Great choice for a starter.

Batman - HATED this one. Will never ever ever get on it again. Ever. I felt like it was 20 seconds of me praying for it to be over. That or it was longer and i just blacked out for the rest which is entirely possible. You know how you feel when you spin around 20 times and the worlds all topsey-turvey and you fall over? Well I felt like I had spun around 2 times and got punched out of it. Seriously. I had to sit down for a long time. Crystal was like "lets go get our bag and we can have a snack" and I was more like - no, I'm gonna stay here with my head down, thanks. I wouldn't be surprised if I had a concussion from my head banging around so much. Before we got on there was a "Do & Do Not sign with pictures of a guy banging his head on the ride. I was totally the Do Not man.

Mind Bender - Fun. Was having technical difficulties as I'm told it always is.

Georgia Cyclone - I liked it a lot. It was a nice and tame and no loops. And smooth. I liked it -- I like it "alot."

Superman - My favorite. I was scared shitless waiting in line for this one. Crystal made us wait forever so we could ride in the front. Which was fair. I bought the picture of us riding it too. (see above)

Great American Scream Machine - Another hated one. It was SO JERKY. It hut my back -- a lot. Wouldn't ride it again.

Georgia Scorcher - Last ride of the day. Wasn't too thrilled to ride another as I was super achy and nauseous from the GASM. Crystal said it banged here ears around a lot and they hurt. Well it killed my cartilage piercing. Very unpleasant.

We didn't ride Acrophobia as Crystal refused after i told her about the girl who got her feet cut off on one (seriously, I wasn't joking -- click the link, it wasn't even a year ago. Google it). Oh well. And Ninja was closed. We rode the buckets. Oddly enough, while Crystal loved all the coaster (her favorite was Batman), she was scare shitless of the buckets. It was kinda funny. And we rode the trolley back to the car at the end of the night because I was freaking dead.

It was a really good day. I had fun :)

Has Edward Norton always been this insanely hot?

The Incredible Hulk is coming out on June 13th. And after watching this trailer, I have to say -- I'll be there. Has Edward Norton always been this hot? Look at this:

Insanely Hot

And this:

Also Hot

My lord. Is it just me? I need that first one in quality good enough to be my desktop wallpaper on my laptop. And my desktop at work. Both monitors.
